Pretty awesome, I'm surprised you don't get too much attention here. Anyway, I can relate to your story (to the scumbags part at least). Consider me a fan from now on.

RedDevilX responds:

xD i was wondering the same thing myself my brother lol, but o well i guess thats life right?, i appreciate that you feel my music man, i just took one look at the world and the place i was in at that time and let the words come straight from my mind and soul. If theres one thing ive been learning though is that giving up is never an option, let the hatred and pain that once scarred you become your power. Let the fear go and channel all your efforts into making those people who hated you realize the severity of giving you this energy. One of my favorite rappers said it himself anger and haters are an extremely powerful force, if you can find a way to thrive off the nonsense they try to put you down with you will never run out of fuel to keep going down the path of life

This is fantastic, may I know what do you use? Awesome job, reminds me of the movies of the nineties for some reason.

SoundChris responds:

Thanks a lot - glad you enjoyed it. Its right that the piece was influenced a lot from scores of the nineties - i tried out some techniques danny elfman used in sleepy hollow :) I have used shevannai, symphonic choirs - vota, hollywood strings / brass / woodwinds, the orchestra percussion of symphonic orchestra (still one of the things i am absolutely uncomfortable with because even without reverb the samples drown in wettness - its quite hard to get the timpani more present. Some sounds in the background were made with stormdrum 2. I think this was everything. Unfortunately the mix is not clean enough to hear the strings / celli well and also a lot of the woodwind action can hardly be heared. I hope to fix these issues once i will have my monitors. Thanks a lot for your review and have a nice weekend!

I love this old record sounding piano, I think you did a good job on it. It reminds of NIN's album: Ghosts I-IV. Keep going.

MattBat27 responds:

I've never listened to that album nor NIN before, so I'll definitely have to check them out. Thanks yo'!

I found it quite enjoyable, but maybe if you could add more sounds, piano maybe, that could be even better imo. Other than that it was funky and I liked the change about 1:16 too. Good work.

Why do we even release shit like this...

Celorux responds:

No shit man...

I don't have a better word to describe this other than "fuckingperfect". I'm sorry that i don't have any constructive comments... I LOVE YOU.

Man, you got skills, the music is awesome, but lacks transitions, everything else is ok. And holy shit only 2 months of making music? I'm looking forward to see hear your stuffs in the future.

I love you too, this is goddamn pro, but it needs more variation, but that's all about it, it's awesome though.

I like it pretty much, you got everything in sync, the bells are giving the song a much more interesting feel i noticed. I loved the bridge at 2:55 also. Repetitive of course but that's how bgm's are.

Hypnotic, that's all i can say really. Will you make an ambient album in the future?

Fubaka responds:

Actually, that was precisely the plan.

Engineering odd soundscapes.
